This should work with most short zone coverages and does not take many attempts to learn which receiver to pick, mostly anyone running a long slant.

When importing from NCAA Football 06, player's stats are randomly done. You can retry for better stats. The interview after the mentor meeting determines some stat boosts to important stats for your player's position.

If you have a player whose personality rating is "Disruption", choose Jason Morales as your agent. He can usually get you a movie deal before the first season starts. Stay away Aubrey DeLong. He is not a good negotiator and it takes forever to get an endorsement.

Look in the Antonio Gates Player Information screen. It will show his receptions, rec yards, etc; however they show that Gates had 0 TDs. Gates set the record for TDs by a Tight End with 13.

Create a punter or kicker with all his attributes at maximum, including passing. You can sign him for a low salary because he is a kicker. Then, set him as the starting quarterback on the depth charts when the season begins. You will now have the best kicker/punter and QB in the league. You may also maximize all passing attributes and move the kicking attributes down to sign him at an even lower price; however this is only recommended if you rarely kick.

Create your player but make him very bad then sign him to a long term deal with your team. After he signs, say for 7 years at 500k a year, go back and edit him to be a 100 in each catagory. Now he's the best player in the game and cheapest. Great for franchise mode.

Go to I-form and the last option and choose HB lead toss. It is a hand off play but it is also a good way for a first down or even a goal token for your runningback.

To build your superstar's overall rating quickly, go to your schedule and simulate or play to a day where you have a game to play. Do not play the game immediately. Instead, go to the Performance Institute and do what is needed to get some points. Add them to your player and leave. If you have auto-save enabled, the game will save your stats for you. If you do not, then save it. Once you are done at the Performance Institute, look at your schedule, then leave. Go back to the Performance Institute to do the drills again with your previous points still there. You can keep training as long as you do it on a day that you have a game to play.
