To unlock Mongoo Monkey for the casino, play The Sims 2 DS while having The Sims 2 GBA in the DS.

3 songs are unlockable in the game. The first two can be used in the Music Mixer, and the last one is only availible on the stereos.

Mix up music in the music mixer (In one of the lounges) and save it.

Record music in one of the lounges and save it. It will now be available in music panels and radios.

When running down the stairs in the Main Lobby run against the rail and occasionally you will run on air above the room. If you stop running you will slowly float down.

Start the game and make sure you are on the "Interact" slot. You will see a crystal on the touch screen. Slide your finger across the touch screen. The crystal will start spinning.

To get more aliens on your save, set the system clock forward by one minute. Load your saved game and walk around for a minute. Save the game, then set system clock back to real time. The bellhop should say that you are a time traveler and that the aliens have launched a full scale attack. As soon as you see the clock, touch it or you will lose all your sanity.

You can dissect an alien by getting an Alien Mummy and buying the Government Lab for 2,000 Simoleons. Get near the table and select "Alien Autopsy". You must be very still when doing this, you will damage the organs.

Go into the Desert with your Metal Detector. Find the crashed space ship and use your Metal Detector in that area. You should get a Mummified Alien, worth 375 Simoleons.

When you go in the City Hall, do not bother building the "Rat Cave". Tristan Legend will build it at no charge when progress in the game, whereas if you do build it, it will cost 3,000 Simoleons.

Go to the area of the town where all the cows are found. Go up to the cows, not the bull, and tip it over. After you tip it over and it is laying down, select "Milk" to get a milkshake. If you just milk the cow without tipping it, you will get plain milk. You can sell it for 2 Simoleons at the store, drink it, or give it away as a gift.

In the basement of the hotel, turn to your right. Go down the hall. Enter the door at the end of the hall and you will be in a freezer. A piece of meat will be hanging from the ceiling. Go up to it and punch it. Your sanity meter will refill faster than usual.

When you time travel backwards, aliens start an invasion. And it's really full scale. You fight them when they're in the street, then the basement, then the Atrium and lastly the Sun Deck. It takes AGES. When you get zapped, you walk slowly permanently. That's right, permanently. It ruins the game! Also, it isn't just zapping that gives you the slow zombie walk. It can come from any contact with them, like dissecting them.

If you turn your Nintendo Ds to year 2000 then continue the game you will recieve a message saying "You wicked little time travler" then there will be 4 alien invasions. If you get zapped take a shower and it will ware off. To stop this turn back to the original year and you will be back to normal.

Set the DS system date to the year 2080 or later. Then, play the game. There should be an alien invasion and lots of dirt piles. After defeating the aliens with your water gun, your vacuum and take all the dirt. You should get valuable things, like glowing rocks (42 Simoleons), Shrunken Heads (50 Simoleons), and Precious Stones (over 120 Simoleons).

If you go to one of the lounges in the Atrium, buy some chocolate. Now go out to the paddock where the cows and the bull are. Give the chocolate to one of the cows (as a gift) and the cow will turn brown. Now milk it (if you want chocolate milk) or tip it, then milk it (for a chocolate milkshake.

Feeling a bit silly? If you just bought the Secret Warehouse and don't know where it is, you would. It's by the Government Lab Door. You walk up to the crates and they swing off the ground to reveal a hole. When you get there, you should have a piece of food to give to Bigfoot. It doesn't matter if you don't, as he's harmless, but he does ask for food. There is a plastic fortune telling machine called Zoltron. The paper is the same kind as the one you first received upon entering the hotel. The first message you are likely to receive is a small poem:

Zoltron the wise, plastic sage
Read fortunes for minimum wage,
He foretold rainy days,
Showered people with praise
But could barely afford the rent for his cage.

Once you have the metal detector, you can sell the gold bars, copper bars, and silver bars to the store clerk, for around 100 simileons, or maybe more.

When you get the Metal bars from the desert using your metal detector, and if you have already bought the Vault. You go in the Vault and go to the money print machine. Then it'll say Process Bars. Click on it, then you'll get more money than you would when you sell them to the clerk at the store.

To get a cute little ghosty in your sim hotel, wait for a "ghost painting" in your local shop (the one with house wares and furniture). Buy it and put it up in your manager's suite. Admire it a lot of times, and it should come to life!! Maybe not in front of your eyes, but he'll appear somewhere and then thats where he will usually be. My ghost is USUALLY ALWAYS in the saloon. One time, on another file, my ghosty appeared right on the stairs after I came out of the penthouse OR second floor lobby after admiring him a lot. He's GOOD and when he's around and you cheer-up, calm-down, restrain, a sim, he will bring that sim's meter down (NOT YOUR'S) and help you!

If u get caught by a alien and are stuck walking slow instead of using the toilet or taking a bath. Walk around using the water gun.

Always thought that alien invasions were a bad thing? Well, they're not! You can get THOUSANDS of dollars from them! Let me tell you how:

There will probably be dust piles all over your hotel (As usual...). But, these dust piles are valuable! But only when you have an alien invasion... Anyway, next, vacuum up the piles, but one at a time. You don't want to miss the valuable objects, do you? OK, so when you vacuum each pile up, there will be "shrunken heads". They will basically just look like alien heads - you'll know them when you see them. Pick them up with the stylus and put them into the vacuum hole thingy (I don't know what it is called, but most of you probably know what I mean - it's where you put items to get money.) And each one is worth like $40-$50! That might not seem like much right then, but considering that there are lots of piles in each room and like 4-7 (I'm just guessing.) alien heads in each pile, you can earn a lot of money! I earned like over $5,000 for one invasion! To get an alien invasion, set your DS' date back a few years and you'll have one. You do get some alien invasions without having to do this, though.

GOOD LUCK - Just some advice, stay away from the aliens!! (OR DEFEAT THEM.)

Note: Save the game before you attempt this. This trick can only be done if you have Optem Alfred living in your penthouse, and if you have every room built (including the Bovine Shrine). Set the Nintendo DS system date to October 31 (Halloween) of next year. Restart the system and start the game. You should have several messages. One of them should be the cashier at your hotel. He will say that a friendly ghost came to the hotel. If you do not get this message, change the date to one year in the future again and restart. Check for the ghost in these locations: Art Gallery, Mamma Hogg's Saloon, Hotel Lobby, Atrium, and Basement. When you see him, go to a person nearby and do a Social with him or her (Impress, Calm Down, etc.) while close to the ghost. He will watch and make the Social go faster. When the mini game is done, you will now make the social go faster for every person you socialize with. Go up to the ghost. To the right side of the screen you will see the words " Mood neutral" and there will be two selections which are "xxx Ofix mood social xxx" and "Give gift". Select the first option. Note: If you select "Give gift" your Sim will enter the Wight Abyss not be able to get out. Your interaction with anything will not show up. Do not enter any doors or the game will freeze. Instead, reset the Nintendo DS and you will start where you saved, but will still speed up interactions, Notice that the game will be odd and you will find new people. Note: Repeating the process may delete your saved game file.

Once, one of the characters called me and said they were somewhere very cold. So I go down to the freezer room, and it's on fire. Weird.

If you change the date or time then you go on your game you will get a phone call saying that the aliens have attacked because you time travelled.

When you call Sims and they tell you where they are, they may not be telling the truth. Once I called Tristan Legend and he said he was in the Saloon, when in fact he was standing right in front of me!
