Sega Genesis Collection Cheats, Cheat Codes and Hints for PSP

Altered Beast codes

Use one of the following cheat codes

Code:	Result:
After losing a life, hold A and tap Start until restarting at the last game location played.	Continue game play
Hold B and press Start at the title screen. An options menu will appear.	Options menu
Enable the "Options menu" code. Select a level from the options menu and hold A + Start at the title screen to begin game play at that location.	Level select
Hold A + B + C + Down/Left and press Start at the title screen. A menu that allows selection of the beast for each round will appear. Use the D-pad to change beasts and Start to exit the menu.	Beast select
Hold A + C + Up/Right and press Start at the title screen.	Sound test
Press Start on controller two to begin game play.	Two-player mode
Hold Up while jumping.	Higher jumps

Sonic the Hedgehog Codes

Use one of the following cheat codes

Press: Up, down, left, right, hold X and press Start	Level Select

Gain Ground: Level Select

First hit select and go to "Control Setup". Now make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Now enter the options screen and press A, C, B, C.

Golden Axe 2: 8 Credits

First hit select and go to "Control Setup". Now make sure the game is in ABC Mode. At the title screen highlight "Options". Now press & hold A+B+C. In the options screen continue holding B & C, release only A. Configure the game however you like. Now only press the Start button to confirm all choices until you reach the character select screen. (don't forget to continue holding B & C the entire time) If you look in the lower right hand corner of the character select screen the Credits should now say 8 instead of 3.

Golden Axe 2: Level Select

First hit select and go to "Control Setup". Now make sure the game is in ABC Mode. At the title screen highlight "Options". Now press & hold A+B+C. In the options screen continue holding A, release only B & C. Configure the game however you like. Now only press the B button to confirm all choices until you have selected your character. (don't forget to continue holding A the entire time) Once you have selected your character a number should appear on screen allowing you to select your level..

Golden Axe: Level Select

First hit select and go to "Control Setup". Now make sure the game is in ABC Mode.
At the title screen highlight "Arcade". Now press and hold Down/Left + B. Continue holding the buttons at the character select screen, and press Start. A number should appear in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Press up or down to select your level.

Vectorman: Debug Mode

First hit select, go to "Control Setup" and make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Enter the options screen press A, B, B, A, Down, A, B, B, A. This will bring you to the Debug menu.

Vectorman: Refill Life

First hit select, go to "Control Setup" and make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Pause the game and press A, B, Right, A, C, A , Down, A, B, Right, A (ABRACADABRA). Unpause and your life will be restored.

Vectorman 2: Extra Lives

First hit select, go to "Control Setup" and make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Pause the game and press Right, Up, B, A, Down, Up, B, Down, Up, B. Unpause and you will have 1 extra life. You can keep doing the code for as many lives as you like.

Vectorman 2: Level Select

First hit select, go to "Control Setup" and make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Pause the game and press Up, Right, A, B, A, Down, Left, A, Down. Unpause and you will be brought to the level select screen.

Vectorman 2: Refill Energy

First hit select, go to "Control Setup" and make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Pause the game and press B, A, B, A, Left, Up, Up. Unpause and your energy will be fully restored.

Vectorman 2: Weapon Select

First hit select, go to "Control Setup" and make sure the game is in ABC Mode. Pause the game and press C, A, Left, Left, Down, A, Down. Unpause and you will have a new weapon. You can keep entering the code until you get the weapon you desire.

Vectorman - Stop The Sega Screen

At the beginning of vectorman, you should land on the sega sign. Jump off and move a little to the right and shoot upward. You should destroy a hidden tv. jump to collect the power up and shoot anywhere. The background should stop and the logo will not shine.

Vectorman - Cursor

When playing the game, pause it and press C, A, Left, Left, A, C, A, B. (Call A Cab). You Should then become a cursor.

Sonic The Hedgehog - Control Cheat & Debug

First, put in the level select code (up, down, left, right). Then let the demo play or skip it. Then press Up, C, Down, C, Left, C, Right. Now press A+Start. The level select option should appear. Choose any level by pressing start. But hold A as soon as the act 1 appears and you should be in debug mode.

Sonic The Hedgehog - Quick Emeralds

Put in the level select, control, and debug cheats in first. Collects at least 50 rings and jump to the big ring. As soon as the bonus level starts, press b to turn into a ring. Walts straight to the emerald and press b again. Continue to do this and you will have all the emeralds.

Gain Ground - Sound Test & Level Difficulty

For this cheat to work, make sure that you highlight (or move the arrow next to Options). Press A, C, B, C. Now go into the Options screen. You should then be at sound test and level difficulty.

Vectorman - Bonus Round

At the beginning of the game, you should be on top of the sega logo. Jump under it and shoot the logo upward 24 times and headbutt it (jump) 12 times. You should then be at a bonus round. Collect 90 to 100 logo letters to go to level 5. Collect 105 to 110 or over to go to level 10.

All the cheats from the original Genesis games work on all of these remakes on the psp.
