Almost got it (5 GP): Fail a song with passed 90% completion.

Easy slip n slide chords

before playing put baby oil across the colours of the guitar and then wipe gently, this will make playing fast notes that go left to right much easier.(this doesnt damage your guitar)

4 Note Power Cord

Go onto practice mode and choose the song "Go that Far" by The Bret Michaels Band on Expert. Click on Rythem Guitar and go to Section Bridge 2 Solo ONLY! Play that section and there you go, a 4 Note Power Cord.

Easy notes vs Lou

When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it entirely. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.

From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou's will be in easy mode.

Easy way to play lefty mode if righty or righty if lefty:

An easy way to do this and is very helpful if you are trying to get the jimi hendrix achievement is if you set up a mirror behind you and look into the mirror toward your television.

Easier songs

Before the beginning of the song (before the chords appear) move the Strum Bar Up and Down until the meter stops going down. Note: When the meter stops it will be in the red, and when the meter starts again it will be somewhere in the middle of the song.

Never ending play

Go to practice and then choose Even flow and then choose solo1 and solo2 then play the song it doesent matter what speed it is. When your playing change the settings to lefty and then change it back to right flip. If you notice you keep playing pass solos 1 and 2, when the song finishes the music just stops and no chords come but you keep playing. Note: i havent tried any of the other songs.

Beat any boss battle in seconds on expert

1st off you have to have 2 xbox profiles. Start GH3 and sign into the profile you dont want to beat the boss on. Go to cheat menu and turn on "No Fail" and "Easy Expert". Back out to main menu. Go to quick play, then choose "Expert" and then choose "Slow Ride". Play like the 1st 10 notes, when you get to the long orange note, click start and go to main menu. Sign out, then sign into your profile you want to beat the boss on. Then go straight to career and go to the boss battle. The computer will miss all his notes and lose within a few seconds!
